Volume:vmhs 082:042
Folios:24
Format:2:o
Size:213x330
Gathering structure:<5> + <7>
Description:No volume title, no original index. The layers are bound together with a thread. All the tabulatures are written by GD's hand.
Date1:1676-1681
Date2:1681
Date ref:Rudén 1968: 165; fol. 6r, 8r, 17v
Comments:Date: The first <5> layer is a different paper than the second <7> layer; the first paper is dated earlier than the second both by Rudén (Rudén 1968: 165) and Grusnick (Grusnick 1966: 162). It is possible that GD started this volume about 1676 with writing in the first two pieces; then he might have left it aside for a while. On fol. 4v the ink colour and style of handwriting changes; after that the first date (1681) is set. On fol. 3r there is an alternative ending written above the original bc line with a pencil, staff notation.
